Key Responsibilities
- Ensure digital cut files meet required specifications and are processed with appropriate settings
- Operate the Guilly Polar 115 machine efficiently, reporting any faults or concerns
- Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance as per manufacturer’s guidelines
- Update the data collection system throughout your shift to record Quality, Cost, and Delivery metrics
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised cutting department
- Dispose of waste materials in line with company recycling procedures
- Follow health and safety regulations and report any issues to the Machines Manager
- Monitor stock levels of blades, router bits, and other consumables; place orders as needed
- Be available for extended shifts when required to meet production schedules
- Assist with other tasks as requested
Requirements
- Proven experience working on Guilly Polar 115 machines
- Ability to produce high-quality work consistently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to follow instructions accurately and raise issues when necessary
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
