Pay: Main Pay / Upper Pay Scale plus TLR2B (£5,646)
Short role summary
HG Recruitment are looking for a Subject Lead of Geography for our client based in Bradford. You will have the recent and relevant successful teaching experience, a proven track record to have had developed relevant whole school or department initiatives. A commitment to developing into an outstanding teacher and a desire for significant professional development, excellent knowledge of subject/s, national curriculum requirements and exam specifications, also ability to motivate and inspire children to learn.

As a Subject Leader of Geography, you will:
- Lead, manage and develop the Geography Curriculum across Key stages 3 and 4
- Inspire a team of teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons
- Monitor progress and outcomes to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
- Contribute to strategic planning and play a key role within the wider Humanities department
A qualified teacher with a strong record in secondary Geography education
Experience of leadership or a strong desire to step into a subject leadership role
A passion for Geography and the ability to inspire pupils of all abilities
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
