Overview

We are seeking a responsible and professional Gateman/Woman to oversee access control at our premises. This role involves managing entry and exit points, ensuring security protocols are followed, and maintaining smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a good sense of management, and the ability to handle maintenance tasks when required. Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to the premises, verifying authorised personnel and visitors


• Maintain security by conducting regular patrols around the site perimeter


• Record and log all incoming and outgoing vehicles and visitors accurately


• Communicate effectively with staff, visitors, and security personnel to ensure smooth operations


• Assist with basic maintenance tasks such as checking gates, locks, and security equipment


• Manage any issues related to access or security concerns promptly and professionally


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times


• Report any irregularities or security breaches to relevant authorities immediately

Experience

• Prior experience in management or security roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates


• Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures is advantageous


• Valid driving licence is desirable for mobility around the site


• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with diverse groups of people


• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
