We are currently looking for an experienced Gateman for a job site in Uckfield.
Key Responsibilities:
Control entry and exit of vehicles and personnel on site
Check identification and visitor credentials
Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and site access
Direct vehicles and deliveries to the appropriate areas
Ensure site boundaries remain secure at all times
Monitor site for safety or security issues and report as needed
Maintain a tidy and professional gate area
Liaise with site management and security teams
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, punctual, and professional appearance
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
Ability to remain calm and assertive under pressure
CSCS card
Security or health and safety certifications are a plus
