Job Title: Finishing Manager 

Start Date: ASAP 

Location: Ashford 

Day Rate: £220 - £250 

My Client is a well established Contractor who has an excellent reputation in the local region. The specialise in Schools, Heritage, Residential and Healthcare and will be looking for an experienced Finishing Manager to join them on a temporary basis on a scheme in Ashford, Kent.

The project is a new traditional build apartment block comprising of 5 floors and requires a Finishing Manager to work with the on Site Manager to hand the apartments over for completion. 

Responsibilities: 

• Managing internal fit-out packages, ensuring efficient and seamless construction.


• Ensure the quality of works completed on site are to standard/spec


• Overseeing contractors and sub-contractors, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.


• Ensuring adherence to building regulations and safety procedures, creating a safe work environment.


• Proactively managing risks, implementing solutions to minimise delays and ensure project success.


• Reporting project progress and key decisions, ensuring transparency.

Requirements:

• CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid


• Background working for a Main Contractor on residential or care homes. 


• Strong understanding of construction processes, technical specifications, and building regulations.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong organisational and time management skills.


• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality.
