Financial Services Outsourcing Assistant Manager responsibilities will include:

• Being responsible for the delivery of management accounts for a small portfolio of clients.


• Preparing management accounts for more complex clients which are technically accurate.


• Preparing VAT returns and liaison with clients/ VAT team over any issues.


• Preparing mid-month clients packs.


• Reviewing financial statements under UK GAAP and IFRS.


• Maintaining fixed asset register- processing invoices, calculating and posting depreciation journals.


• Preparing standard KPI dashboards from the client’s accounting system, using templates.


• Preparing simple budgets for clients’ management purposes only by extrapolating last year’s data and making minor adjustments.

As a Financial Services Outsourcing Assistant Manager you will be/have:

• ACA or ACCA Qualified


• Over 18 month’ post-qualified experience of reviewing management accounts and complex bookkeeping assignments


• The first point of contact for a portfolio of management accounts clients


• Demonstrate the ability to supervise and develop a team of staff
