Finance Assistant

Finance Assistant - £27-33,000 + Benefits 

We are seeking a proactive, adaptable and detail focused Finance Assistant for an Antrim-based construction company on a permanent basis! 

Supporting the finance team, you will be primarily responsible for: 

• Process supplier, agency and labour-only subcontractor invoices accurately and efficiently.


• Running weekly/monthly supplier and subcontractor payment runs including reconciliations and nominal ledger postings.


• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring tax compliance (CIS, VAT and RCT).


• Verifying VAT status, and managing Reverse Charge VAT.


• Allocate correct project and cost codes in line with construction job costing requirements.


• Liaise with suppliers, agencies, subcontractors and internal teams efficiently and professionally. 

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience of working in a Construction / Manufacturing / Fit out company


• Previous experience of CIS and VAT


• Background in an accounts focused role
