Our client has continued to diversify its core range of products from vending and catering supplies and services, to now providing fully managed coffee shops for the workplace as well as being the first choice for dedicated distributorships for bespoke products offered by likes of Douwe Egberts Professional and Micromarkets.

They are looking for experienced Vending Service Engineers to cover South Wales and the West Country.

The Person

You will be an experienced Vending Service Engineer with exposure across a wide range of machine types and manufactures. You will hit the ground running and be able to demonstrate multimachine competence supported by manufacture training. You will thrive working in an empowered environment finding your own solutions to problems within your boundaries of authority. They expect all their staff to take ownership of their duties with an attitude of whatever it takes to get the job done! You will need to be a people person, driving and motivating yourself to achieve the highest possible standards within the industry and contribute towards an environment of exceptional customer service where going the extra mile is the norm.

The Role:

  • Attend customer sites to diagnose and fault find any fault on various vending systems including: Electrical faults; Water and water flow faults; Refrigeration fault finding and basic component repair (all specialist work will be conducted by third party); Ingredient performance and drink quality issues; Espresso Systems.
  • Optimise a range of Coffee Systems to get the very best from a wide variety of products.
  • Take a lead with equipment installs on customer premises.
  • Assist with equipment movements and uplifts.
  • Ensure all paperwork and procedures are completed on time and in line with company polices.
  • Find the correct part numbers from the correct suppliers and request parts orders in line with SOP’s.
  • Return all warranty and service parts promptly and correctly.
  • Advise and train, operators, customers and end users when appropriate.
  • Assist with all customer issues to ensure they receive a class leading service.
  • Ensure all relevant or re-occurring issues are elevated swiftly within SOP’s.

Prerequisites:

  • Experience maintaining Vending and Coffee Machines - Essential
  • Manufacture training courses (Including Coffetek, CraneMS, Evoca, Westomatic etc.) – Essential
  • A technical aptitude
  • Clean driving licence
