Pay: £12.31 (+£50 Per Sleep-In Shift)

We’re seeking a female Support Worker to provide dedicated 1:1 and 2:1 care to a lovely lady in her 80s living with a learning disability, mobility challenges, and dementia.
Who Will You Be Supporting?
You’ll be supporting a gentle and engaging woman who values connection and routine. She enjoys:
- Homely meals and a warm, familiar environment
- Classic black and white films from the 1950s and 60s
- Jigsaw puzzles and quiet, focused activities
- One-to-one relationships with staff who take the time to understand her
- Friendly conversation and companionship
She uses a wheelchair and hoist, requires support with personal care, feeding, and medication, and benefits from staff who are patient, observant, and able to interpret non-verbal communication.
What Will You Be Doing?
Your role will involve:
- Providing personal care and support with daily living
- Using hoists and mobility aids safely and confidently
- Preparing nutritious, homely meals
- Administering medication as required
- Supporting her with feeding and maintaining a clean, safe environment
- Building a trusting relationship through consistent, thoughtful care
Shift Patterns
We offer a variety of shifts to suit different lifestyles:
- Day Shifts: 8am – 6pm
- Evening into Morning: 5pm – 9am (includes sleep-in)
- 2:1 Support: 1pm – 2pm (flexible)
- Sleep-In Shifts: 11pm – 8am

We’re seeking a female Support Worker with:
- Previous care experience
- A mature, calm, and friendly approach
- Confidence in starting conversations and building rapport
- Ability to cook homely meals and support with feeding
- Understanding of non-verbal communication and dementia care
- A warm, chatty personality that brings comfort and companionship
