Facilities and Utilities Engineer

A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking a proactive Facilities & Utilities Engineer to join their Larne site. This is an on-site role supporting operational integrity, site utilities, and building infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.



Key Responsibilities




  • Maintain and improve site utilities: HVAC, steam, water, compressed air, and electrical systems.

  • Lead engineering projects from planning to commissioning.

  • Manage installation, validation, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations.

  • Supervise contractors and technical teams as required.



Requirements




  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in regulated manufacturing.

  • Experience managing engineering projects and working under CDM regulations.

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and CMMS systems.



Desirable




  • NEBOSH/IOSH certification.

  • Experience with cleanrooms, HVAC design, sustainability initiatives, and GMP compliance.
