A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking a proactive Facilities & Utilities Engineer to join their Larne site. This is an on-site role supporting operational integrity, site utilities, and building infrastructure, while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and improve site utilities: HVAC, steam, water, compressed air, and electrical systems.
- Lead engineering projects from planning to commissioning.
- Manage installation, validation, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and CDM regulations.
- Supervise contractors and technical teams as required.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in regulated manufacturing.
- Experience managing engineering projects and working under CDM regulations.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and CMMS systems.
Desirable
- NEBOSH/IOSH certification.
- Experience with cleanrooms, HVAC design, sustainability initiatives, and GMP compliance.
