Fabric Supervisor

I am currently recruiting for a fabric/ maintenance supervisor for a permanent vacancy in Mayfair.

There are no direct reports for this role, this is full time on the tools as a lead fabric engineer but requires someone with previous supervisory and client liaison experience.

The position will consist of day to day fabric maintenance, log book and admin tasks alongside daily client liaison.

To be suitable for this contract you must meet the below criteria:

1. Have a minimum of 5 years fabric maintenance experience in a commercial maintenance environment.


2. Previous supervisory/ lead engineer experience.


3. Experience with client liaison.


4. Have a background in general trades ie. painting/ carpentry/ plastering.


5. Be able to quote for additional works and effectively liaise with clients.


6. Be able to provide a minimum of 2 references from work completed in the past 5 years.


7. Have your own safety boots and basic hand tools.

My client are one of the largest facilities providers in the UK and the successful fabric supervisor will be based at a commercial building in Mayfair.

The shift and working hours are 8am-5pm/ Mon-Fri and the starting salary is £43,000 - £45,000.

Your duties will include but not be limited to general maintenance, changing lights, basic plumbing, flushing, making good, changing door locks, painting, cleaning plant rooms, assisting M&E engineers etc.

My client are looking for a client facing fabric lead/ supervisor with a good attitude to work and advanced knowledge of general maintenance/ building services.
