Position: Extra Care Scheme Registered Manager
Reporting to: Regional Ops Manager
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 37.5hrs per week
Salary: £38,000
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Extra Care Scheme Registered Manager to lead our Extra Care Scheme supporting adults with physical and mental health challenges.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care and driving continuous improvement. You will be responsible for the overall management, leadership, and regulatory compliance of the service, ensuring a safe, supportive, and recovery-focused environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and direction to the staff team
Ensure full compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards
Promote a culture of recovery, dignity, respect, and empowerment
Oversee care planning, risk management, and clinical governance
Manage budgets and ensure effective resource allocation
Lead supervision, training, and development of staff
Maintain strong partnerships with external professionals and stakeholders
Drive service improvement and achieve positive outcomes for clients
About You:
We are looking for a dedicated professional who has:
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a similar setting
Experience with supporting with mental health, LD and physical needs
Experience working within regulatory frameworks (e.g. CQC)
A recognised health and social care qualification (Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent)
Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults
