ESG & Sustainability Manager responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing sustainability reporting projects
- Advising clients on sustainability reporting standards and frameworks, such as ISSB, GRI, CSRD
- Developing and implementing sustainability reporting strategies tailored to client needs
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability reporting into broader corporate reporting
- Conducting detailed reviews of sustainability reports to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Training and mentoring junior team members on sustainability reporting practices
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, offering exceptional client service
- Identifying opportunities for business development and contributing to proposals and pitches
As an ESG & Sustainability Manager, you will have:
- A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in corporate reporting, with a strong focus on sustainability reporting, as well as previous practice experience
- A proven track record of advising clients on sustainability reporting standards and frameworks
- Experience in preparing and reviewing sustainability reports
- A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in sustainability reporting
- The ability to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional client service
