Engineering Manager – Healthcare FM

Location: White City, London

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £65,000

A market-leading facilities management provider is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a major healthcare contract in West London. This is a flagship site within a critical healthcare environment, requiring strong technical leadership, compliance expertise, and a calm, professional approach.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a highly regulated, high-profile estate where reliability, safety, and service excellence are paramount.

The Role

As Engineering Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day operation, compliance, and performance of all building services across the healthcare site. You will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team while working closely with the client to ensure the estate remains safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of electrical, mechanical, and fabric engineers


• Ensure full compliance with HTM, statutory, and healthcare regulations


• Manage PPM schedules, reactive works, and lifecycle planning


• Oversee subcontractors and specialist service providers


• Act as the main technical point of contact for the client


• Deliver audits, reporting, and performance reviews


• Manage budgets, cost control, and commercial performance


• Drive continuous improvement, reliability, and service excellence

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in an Engineering Manager, Technical Manager, or Senior Contract Manager role within FM


• Strong background in healthcare, hospitals, or critical environments


• Solid technical knowledge across electrical and mechanical building services


• Excellent understanding of compliance, HTMs, and statutory regulations


• Strong leadership, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills


• Relevant technical qualification (Electrical or Mechanical) with management experience
