Responsibilities
Deliver a broad range of employment tax services, including complex compliance and high-level ad hoc advisory work.
Lead employer compliance reviews, internal audits, and health check initiatives to ensure robust risk management for clients.
Advise on technical matters such as worker status, Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), and expenses and benefit tax treatments.
Manage corporate due diligence projects related to employment tax risks during acquisitions or disposals.
Oversee the preparation and submission of various statutory forms, including P11Ds and employment-related securities reporting.
Identify and execute remuneration planning opportunities, including bonus structures, share schemes, and salary sacrifice arrangements.
As an Employment Tax Manager you will:
Work closely with local Tax Partners and the national Workforce Advisory group to deliver high-quality client solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for a diverse portfolio, ensuring a premium level of client service and responsiveness.
Coach and mentor junior staff members, providing on-the-job training and constructive feedback to support their professional journey.
Drive business development initiatives, identifying opportunities to introduce additional service lines such as VAT, personal tax, and corporate finance.
Take primary responsibility for the financial performance of your client projects, ensuring efficiency and quality in all deliverables.
