Electrical Site Supervisor - 6 Month Contract – Portsmouth



Skilled Careers are currently working alongside an established Tier 1 Contractor who urgently require an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor in Portsmouth on a 6 month contract.

Ideally you will have previous experience of working within an Electrical Site Supervisor role on a industrial, educational and commercial office projects.



Job Purpose:

The responsibilities of this Electrical Site Supervisor role include overseeing electrical work and subcontractors, scoping work and ordering materials, issuing permits and ensuring electrical safety rules are followed.



Role:

• Co-ordination of the installation.


• Supervising Contractors and Subcontractors, ensuring all direct staff and subcontractors are adequately trained and adhering to H&S procedures.


• Monitoring H&S and review and approving RAMS


• Managing on site survey works for electrical, fire alarm, Security, and Data Sub-contractors


• Managing on site electrical installations in School


• Review Drawings


• Programme reviews and regular progress updates

Requirements:

• Working with a Tier one contractor


• Experience working on educational projects


• HND or Higher Qualification in Electrical or Building services engineering


• SMSTS or SSSTS


• CSCS


• First Aid – Preferred


• Computer literate inc Excell/Word/Adobe
