Electrical Site Manager (Contract) - Healthcare Project, Cambridge

We're looking for an experienced Electrical Site Manager to join a leading MEP Contractor on a significant 9-month healthcare project in Cambridge.

This is a contract role offering up to £400 per day.

You'll be crucial to the successful delivery of electrical installations, ensuring high standards and smooth operations on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Site Supervisors and specialist subcontractors.


• Prepare and present accurate progress reports.


• Coordinate effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and installation teams.


• Manage material take-offs efficiently.


• Conduct daily safe start briefings and toolbox talks.


• Implement and maintain quality plans on site.


• Develop weekly and monthly lookahead programmes.


• Act as the primary technical point of contact for on-site queries.


• Attend daily briefings and site walks with main contractors and clients.


• Report directly to the Project Manager.


• Participate in and contribute to progress meetings.

What You'll Bring:

Essential:

• GCSE (or equivalent) education.


• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.


• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.


• Minimum 3 years' experience in an electrical site management or supervisory role.


• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors on complex, multi-disciplinary building projects.

Desirable:

• Qualification in Building Services, Construction, or an Electrical trade background.
