About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Supervisor to lead our building services team within a healthcare setting in Hammersmith and Fulham. This is a key role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of electrical systems across clinical and non-clinical areas, directly supporting patient care and operational continuity.
You will be responsible for managing a team of 7 engineers – 3 electrical and 4 fabric – ensuring all planned and reactive maintenance is delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electrical maintenance and installations across healthcare facilities, including hospitals and clinics.
- Lead and support a team of 7 engineers, ensuring effective task allocation, performance monitoring, and development.
- Ensure compliance with HTM (Health Technical Memoranda), standards, and statutory regulations.
- Carry out fault diagnosis, inspections, and testing of electrical systems including emergency lighting, fire alarms, and medical interfaces.
- Minimise disruption to clinical services while maintaining safety and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, compliance checks, and asset performance.
- Collaborate with estates, infection control, and clinical teams to uphold safe working practices.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within healthcare or a similarly regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems in clinical settings.
- Knowledge of HTM guidelines and NHS compliance standards (desirable).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
