ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a renowned nationwide leader in the construction and facilities management industry. Established in 1994, they have grown significantly and secured multiple blue-chip contracts due to their outstanding reputation.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a maintenance builder to cover a static site in Glasgow

JOB OVERVIEW

This post will be based on a Mobile role, covering predominantly Aberdeen although our area does cover from Dundee all the way up to Inverness..

Their client base include but are not limited to Commercial office blocks & industrial units, Retail & Student Accommodation.

We are looking for a candidate who has knowledge of electrical systems and over 5 years’ experience in similar Electrical / HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.

JOB RESPONSBILITIES

Diagnose faults, repair, replace, and upgrade lighting, wiring, and electrical components, ensuring compliance with BS 7671.
Conduct electrical testing, rewires, and emergency lighting maintenance.
Perform routine and reactive maintenance on electrical and HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, chillers, boilers, and pumps.
Maintain fire alarms, security systems, and automated controls.
Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, keeping accurate maintenance records.
To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date.
Must be competent in working on CAFM system and using tablet for logging on to jobs and completing compliance paperwork

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Approved Electrical Apprenticeship – Minimum requirement.

18th Edition Accreditation – Essential.

2391 Testing & Inspection – Beneficial.
