Our client is recruiting for a Dispatch Administrator to join their Warehouse team in Bingley!
The Role
The Dispatch Administrator will carry out duties, including:
- Ensure all customer orders are dispatched OTIF
- Liaise with haulage companies regards inbound/outbound deliveries
- Liaise with 3rd party drivers upon arrival for collections/deliveries
- Book deliveries with customers through email/portals
- Update the orderbook
- Update and manage the transport board
- Update the transport tracker daily
- Liaise with SOP regarding order fulfilment
- Ensure all relevant parties have a clear understanding of the dispatch process
- Ensure to use the most cost-effective haulage method for customer orders
- Record data regarding stock/pallet movement and cost
- Print sales order picks for the warehouse team
- Oversee the CHEP account
- Ensuring reported stock levels are up to date and accurate
- Complete DR investigations effectively and efficiently
- Goods in receipting
- Support the Warehouse management team with administrative duties
The Ideal Warehouse Dispatch Administrator
This office-based role would suit an enthusiastic candidate with excellent written and oral communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Strong listening skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Highly numerically accurate
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Planning & Organisation - Ability to perform to clearly defined deadlines and milestones
- Previous experience in the use of Sage – Preferable
