Hours: Full-time (35 hours, Monday – Friday); Part-time considered

Location: Hybrid – home-based and Liberty Hall, London, E5 9AA
Salary: £36,000 per annum (full-time)
Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays
Pension: 4% employer contribution

Summary
Launched in 2012, this pioneering community cookery school based in Hackney has a mission to tackle the climate crisis, reduce health inequalities, and bring communities together through the power of plants. They provide culinary education, meals, and support networks that ensure no one is left behind in the transition to a plant-centred, sustainable diet. Their work has reached hundreds of thousands of people and been recognised with awards including the BBC Food & Farming Award, Caroline Walker Trust Award, and the Urban Food Award.
To support their ambitious growth, they are seeking a proactive Fundraising Manager to join their fundraising and communications team. You will have fundraising experience (professional or personal) and enthusiasm for their mission. This role offers the opportunity to lead fundraising projects, manage relationships with donors and partners, and play a central role in securing income across multiple streams.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Development and colleagues, you will help raise over £500,000 annually through diverse income sources. You will write persuasive proposals, nurture donor and partner relationships, and deliver inspiring small-scale fundraising events. You will also contribute to strategy development to grow and sustain income.
This role requires creativity, strong relationship skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. It is a rewarding opportunity for someone motivated by social justice and environmental impact.
