Role

A superb opportunity has arisen for a senior architectural technician or junior design manager to progress within a building main contractor environment. The role of the design manager involves coordinating and controlling the flow of design information between external consultants and site project delivery team. Working closely with the project manager, the design manager interacts with architects, civil and structural engineers, to ensure that changes and adaptations during the construction process are correctly recorded and communicated, to ensure timely delivery and completion of the building works.



This position will initially be based within a challenging new build and refurbishment project with heritage building complexities.



Experience Required

This position offers an excellent step from architectural practice into main contracting, so experienced architectural technicians who are looking for new ways to progress financially and take on new challenges are encouraged to apply. Junior design managers who have already made the move into main contracting but are looking to work in a better company environment, gain more autonomy in their role, and earn more money, whilst becoming part of a close and stable regional team, will be an excellent fit for this post.



Remuneration

Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £65,000 depending on experience. Benefits package will include car allowance and pension scheme.
