Design Engineer

We are looking for a Design Engineer to deliver high-quality engineering solutions for multi-disciplinary projects in the Water Industry. You will manage design deliverables from concept to construction support, collaborating with project teams to ensure technical excellence, compliance, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage designs using Autodesk Revit (3D) and AutoCAD (2D).


• Conduct site surveys and liaise with clients to define project requirements.


• Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure compliance with client and industry standards.


• Present designs in internal and client reviews, including HAZOPs and Technical Authority meetings.


• Maintain Design Risk Assessments and support continuous professional development.

Key Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years in mechanical or construction design.


• Proficient in 2D/3D modelling; knowledge of pumps and pipework a plus.


• Understanding of water/wastewater processes and associated equipment.


• Degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline preferred.


• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
