My client is currently seeking to employ a skilled full time Mechanical Design Engineer, to join a team of engineers based at our factory near Ballygawley. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical design principles and be proficient in Autodesk's Product Design & Manufacturing Collection software.
Responsibilities:
To take responsibility of various sized projects from concept right the way through to completion, ensuring that all projects are produced to required specifications, standards and budgets. While also updating our parts library and portfolio of standard components.
Essential criteria:
- A minimum of 3-4 years’ experience within design office.
- Competent in using 2D & 3D software - AutoCAD & Inventor.
- A relevant 3rd level or above qualification in an engineering related subject, however more years of relatable design experience would very much be considered.
