Data Analyst needed for a permanent career opportunity based in Derby (Hybrid). Start ideally June/July 2025.

A chance to join a dynamic and growing data analytics consultancy specialising in delivering data insight solutions for the transportation sector.

Key skills, experience + tasks will include:

• Proven experience gained in Data Analyst / Data Analytics roles ideally within a fast-paced or Consultancy business environment.


• Supporting clients with better business decision-making, actionable insights and recommendations through data visualisation and dashboards.


• Working across the full data project life-cycle including: data sourcing, extraction, data wrangling, modelling, data visualisation, dashboard creation and reporting.


• Using Power BI to create interactive data dashboards, data visualisations, and reports to deliver meaningful insights.


• Extracting, cleansing and analysing raw customer data sets in MS Excel.


• Presenting key findings and recommendations to clients, demonstrating both strong analytical and communication skills.


• Advantageous: SQL, Tableau, Looker, Python/R, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), statistical analysis, predictive modelling, Rail industry experience.
