Customer Service Representative – Spider is advertising on behalf of Seven Logistics who are recruiting a Customer Service Representative to join their team in Felixstowe, Suffolk in this full-time, permanent position.

About the role:

The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for customers, working within a busy and fast-paced traffic office environment. You will be responsible for supporting daily operations by handling customer queries, coordinating administrative and transport-related processes, and working closely with operations and accounts teams to ensure a smooth service. Working hours are 40 hours per week between 07:30 and 17:30 on a rota basis, Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries and providing support
  • Preparing, checking and processing invoices and handling related queries
  • Inputting delivery notes and reviewing landing times
  • Chasing PODs, releases, and outstanding shipping information
  • Pricing jobs using tariffs or email quotations and processing confirmed quotes
  • Liaising with operations and accounts to resolve day-to-day issues
  • Carrying out general administrative duties as required

About you:

As a Customer Service Representative, you will have current experience working in customer services within a busy traffic office environment. You will have excellent interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. You will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong organisational skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications are essential.
