Job Title: Temporary Credit Controller
Salary: 14 - 16 per hour
Hours: Initially 1 day a week, with the potential to increase to 2-3 days a week
Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Temporary Credit Controller to join our team. This role is initially for 1 day a week, with the possibility of increasing to 2-3 days a week based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing and collecting debts from company debtors
Setting up the terms of credit for new clients
Negotiating payment plans
Managing the collection of all payments and debts
Responding to client inquiries
Preparing statements and reports for the company accountant
Managing the sales ledger
Liaising with customers and the sales team
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
Knowledge of accounting software is a plus
