About the Role

ICTS is seeking experienced, professional, and customer-focused Relief Security Officers to support our Corporate Security operations across prestigious London locations.

This is an opportunity for security professionals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of discretion, professionalism, and service excellence within a corporate environment. As a Relief Officer, you will play a visible and trusted role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Working across a variety of corporate sites, you will provide flexible cover that supports operational resilience while upholding the highest standards of security, customer service, and compliance. You will be confident working independently, calm under pressure, and comfortable representing both the client and ICTS to a consistently high professional standard.

This role is ideal for individuals who value quality, accountability, and attention to detail, and who are motivated by working in environments where strong people skills genuinely matter.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Corporate Security team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing access control for employees, visitors, and contractors in line with site procedures and assignment instructions
  • Maintaining a professional, approachable, and security-conscious presence at all times
  • Conducting internal and external patrols to deter and identify security or safety risks
  • Monitoring and operating security systems, including CCTV, alarms, access control, and fire safety systems
  • Responding promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, alarms, and customer requests
  • Supporting emergency procedures, including fire evacuations, medical incidents, and critical response situations
  • Verifying identification and challenging unauthorised access confidently and respectfully
  • Locking and unlocking buildings, rooms, barriers, and restricted areas as required
  • Identifying, reporting, and escalating Health & Safety concerns and hazards
  • Producing clear, accurate, and timely incident and occurrence reports using digital and manual systems
  • Providing guidance and assistance to staff, visitors, and contractors when required
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of site procedures, assignment instructions, and client expectations
  • Contributing to a safe, compliant, and customer-focused security operation

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for individuals who demonstrate integrity, sound judgement, reliability, and a genuine commitment to service excellence.

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Valid SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) licence
  • Previous experience in security, corporate security, concierge, or customer-facing environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong customer-service mindset with a calm, professional approach
  • Ability to remain composed, confident, and effective under pressure
  • Good IT and administrative skills
  • Strong attention to detail and observational skills
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving ability
  • Good working knowledge of security systems, fire procedures, and emergency response
  • Sound understanding of GDPR and the appropriate handling of personal data
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • A minimum of seven years’ checkable employment history and references
  • Ability to pass a Criminal Records Check (CRC) to the required standard

Desirable

  • First Aid at Work qualification
  • SIA CCTV (PSS) licence
  • Experience within corporate, financial, critical infrastructure, or other high-profile environments
  • Experience producing professional reports or incident documentation
