Overview
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple construction projects, ensuring delivery to programme, budget, and quality standards while maintaining strong commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
- Lead programme planning, resource allocation, and site coordination
- Monitor costs, forecasts, and commercial performance (CVR reporting)
- Ensure contractual obligations and notices are administered correctly
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- Lead site meetings and drive progress against programme targets
- Oversee procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards
Requirements
- Proven experience managing multiple construction projects
- Strong commercial awareness and cost control capability
- Excellent knowledge of contracts, programme management, and risk mitigation
- Effective leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication and reporting ability
- Relevant site certifications (e.g. SMSTS, CSCS) preferred
