Role Overview

We’re looking for a Cleaning Operative to support our client’s site in Victoria Avenue, Southend-On-Sea, Essex

To provide a High Standard of cleaning within the Essex Police Buildings this would include the cleaning of Office Areas, Toilets/Showers, Kitchen Areas and General Cleaning of Cells.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with the cleaning specification and work schedules including Custody but not Foul Cells.
Complete ADHOC jobs as requested by your line manager
Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are maintained in a clean and orderly manner.
Due to the nature of the work confidentiality is required at all times.
Ensure company policies and procedures are followed at all times.
Follow the safe use of chemicals guidance (COSHH).
To ensure the handover of any outstanding work.

About You:

Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
Good communication skills,
Ability to operate in a pressurised environment.
Excellent time management.
Attention to detail and proactive.
Ability to work under own initiative and also as a member of a team
Experience in working within a team as well as on your own – essential
Knowledge of COSHH
Experience:
Previous experience within a similar role.
Flexible approach to working hours, including working weekends & Bank Holidays
The applicant will be required to successfully complete a full online Police Vetting Procedure
