We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants / Kitchen Assistants to join a friendly team in Woodbridge for a short-term, temporary role. This role combines catering and housekeeping duties, perfect for candidates with an interest in hospitality, food service, or cleaning roles.

Details:

Location: Woodbridge, Suffolk
Contract: 2-Month Temporary (September – November)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:30
Pay: £12.21 – £13.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

Catering & Kitchen Duties

Assist with food preparation, plating, and serving meals
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas
Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Support the catering team during busy service periods

Housekeeping & Cleaning Duties

Clean and sanitise rooms, communal areas, and facilities
Change bed linens and replenish supplies
Maintain high standards of hygiene and presentation
Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns
Work efficiently to meet daily cleaning schedules

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in catering, kitchen, or housekeeping roles preferred but not essential
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
Good time management and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to health, safety, and cleanliness standards
