CAD Technician / Laser & Press Programmer

A well-established engineering and fabrication business is looking to recruit a CAD Technician / Laser & Press Programmer to join its growing team.

The role:

• Producing CAD drawings for laser cutting and press brake operations


• Programming laser and press brake machinery


• Working closely with production to ensure accuracy and efficiency


• Modifying and optimising existing designs


• Supporting continuous improvement within the workshop

The ideal candidate:

• Experience using CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)


• Proven experience programming laser cutters and press brakes


• Good understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
