CAD Projects Draughtsperson

The main focus of this role is to support the contracting and sales teams with project specific details and technical documentation for the installation of Komfort products. This will include the preliminary designs and interface details, manufacturing drawings for special components (should they be required), and installation/setting out as built drawings.

When not working on project specific drawing work you will also work alongside the NPD team on product related documentation.

Key Accountabilities:

Creation of project specific drawings.
Represent Komfort at on-site design meetings.
Drawing support for the Contracting and Sales teams on major projects.
Uploading and reviewing documents onto portals when required.
Assisting in the creation of Method of Builds.
Help prepare operation and maintenance manuals for projects.
Participate in New Product Design meetings.
Answer technical helpline calls when required.

Experience, Qualifications and Professional Memberships:

Must have AutoCAD experience, preferably 3 years as a CAD Draughtsperson working in the construction industry for a reputable contractor.
Glazed partitioning experience ideally but solid partitioning or joinery would be considered.
Experience working on commercial fit out projects dealing directly with Architects and main Contractor Designers.
Revit experience (desirable).
Good written and communication skills.
Commercial awareness.
Site surveying experience (desirable).
