CAD/ Packaging/ Carton Designer

We are work a leading packaging company who are seeking a CAD/ Packaging/ Carton Designer to lead all elements of the packaging response to customer briefs, delivering sustainable and commercially viable carton design solutions for world-class, global brand customers. The role encompasses the full development cycle from concept through to supply, ensuring that both customer expectations and internal production/environmental standards are exceeded. The Packaging Design Lead is responsible for translating briefs into innovative, technically feasible packaging proposals, while providing customers with a variety of creative and effective alternatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce creative, high-quality packaging designs that meet all brief requirements.


• Research current products and trends to propose added-value design alternatives.


• Work closely with customers, sales, prepress, and production teams to deliver prototypes.


• Provide technical drawings and physical samples.


• Help identify new design opportunities and support sales pipelines.


• Prepare multi-up layouts for pricing and tooling.


• Maintain accurate records and handle admin tasks as needed.


• Support special projects and maintain confidentiality at all times.

Experience

• Experience in folding carton design.


• Skilled in ArtiosCAD or similar.


• Able to create samples and follow design briefs.


• Ideally familiar with Kongsberg cutting tables.

Education

• A-Levels and CAD qualification.


• Degree in Packaging Design (desirable).
