Buyer, Newtownabbey, £36,000 - £41,000 + benefits

To join a successful and busy manufacturer as their new Buyer! 

Duties will include; 

• Responsible for ensuring the procurement of products and on-time delivery of quality materials within budget based on required demands utilising the current systems and processes available on site


• Manage delivery flow of parts and services and communicate issues to manufacturing cells.


• Liaise with suppliers on a daily basis in relation to orders/delivery dates and any issues connected to this, ensuring operations are fully kept up to date


• Performing supplier reviews, monitoring, reporting and ensuring compliance with all contractual commitments and where necessary visiting the supplier both local and within the UK.

What we are looking for

·         Degree qualified or CIPS qualified or substantial relevant hands-on experience

·         3 years + experience within a manufacturing environment

·         Experience of ERP/MRP systems

·         Customer & supplier management experience
