This is your opportunity to join a global manufacturing business who are seeking for a Buyer to join their highly successful team on a permanent full-time basis

About you…

• +2 years buying experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment


• Experience of using MRP/ERP

Duties…

• Work with the supply chain manager regarding maintaining proper inventory levels of materials


• Organise purchasing requisitions


• Negotiate prices


• Liaise with suppliers on a daily basis


• Manage material costing and all associated material aspects on nominated customer programs.


• Work closely with the materials control department in assuring the timely supply of materials into the company.


• Represent the company at supplier meeting both internal and external as appropriate.


• Participate in the day-to-day activities of the team and work effectively as a team member to ensure continuous improvement.
