Our client is a not-for-profit independent training provider. Now in its 36th year, it delivers training to employers across the region. Currently this includes apprenticeships in leadership and engineering, bespoke NVQ provision, and online CPD training.

Working ethically is embedded in their culture and ensuring the right service is provided to the client is key. Their vision is to become a flagship provider in the North of England.

This role is a key part of their strategy aimed at growth whilst maintaining the high key outputs already achieved. This position reports directly to the Business Support Manager.

Are you ready to take on a dynamic role that’s at the heart of their company’s success? As a Business Support Officer, you’ll be the driving force behind their day-to-day sales and marketing activities while playing a key role in supporting all aspects of their business operations. You'll be the face of their company, creating a lasting first impression, and you'll work closely with stakeholders at every level - both inside and outside the organization - to ensure smooth and efficient operations. While this position is primarily office-based, you’ll also have the opportunity to travel within the region to fulfil your role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Business Support Manager to shape and execute their company’s marketing strategy.
  • Take the lead on sales and promotional activities, driving business growth.
  • Liaise with employers to manage commercial and apprenticeship programs.
  • Oversee the completion of apprenticeship sign-up processes.
  • Coordinate their outreach programs and ensure active learner engagement.
  • Manage and enhance all learner feedback activities.
  • Engage in a variety of general business tasks to support their company’s goals.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Ideally, you hold a Level 3 or 4 qualification in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales and marketing.
  • Strong commercial awareness and organizational skills.
  • A confident, adaptable, and creative approach to your work.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with proficiency in IT and numeracy.
  • A full driving license is required.
