Job Opportunity: Building Works Supervisor (Part-Time)

Location: County Down

Working hours: Part-time (2-3 days per week)

A well-established construction and civil engineering company is seeking a Building Works Supervisor with experience in housing and building projects. This part-time role (2-3 days per week) offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the restoration and preservation of a significant historical building in the Mourne Mountains.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and inspect all aspects of the restoration work, ensuring quality meets specifications.


• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and maintain high standards.


• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including managing risk assessments.


• Assist in tracking project timelines and budgets to ensure work remains on schedule.


• Identify and resolve any site challenges related to construction methods and materials.


• Report any delays or issues that could affect project completion.

Requirements:

• Strong background in construction or building works.


• Several years of hands-on experience in the construction industry.


• Experience in restoration projects (desirable).


• Previous supervisory or management experience on construction sites.


• Knowledge of quality control and site inspection processes.


• Relevant site cards.


• Full driving licence.
