We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biomedical Scientist (Biochemistry) to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting biochemical analyses, developing and validating assays, and supporting research and clinical projects. The role involves both routine testing and investigative research, contributing to innovation in diagnostics and biotechnology.

What we are looking for...

• BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related discipline (essential).


• HCPC Registered Biomedical Scientist (essential).


• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in a laboratory environment, ideally within a clinical or private lab setting.


• Strong knowledge of biochemical techniques and instrumentation.


• Familiarity with UK laboratory regulatory standards (e.g., UKAS accreditation, ISO 15189).

Working within a busy lab you will be analyzing clinical samples, this will include;

• Sampling pre / post analytics


• Sample analysis


• Adhering to test specifications


• Analytical method development


• Training junior staff


• Adhering to quality procedures and associated paperwork completion for the fulfilment of ISO15189 QMS
