BIM Technician – St Albans (Hybrid, 3 Days Office / 2 Days Home)

We are currently seeking a talented BIM Technician to join a well-established building services consultancy based in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, working on a wide variety of exciting projects across the commercial, residential, and mixed-use sectors.

The Role

As a BIM Technician, you will play a key role in supporting the design and delivery of building services projects. Working closely with engineers and project teams, you will be responsible for producing detailed and accurate drawings and models, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in the St Albans office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Produce accurate MEP drawings and Revit models in line with project requirements.

  
  


• 
  

  Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to ensure coordinated design solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain BIM standards and assist in the development of workflows and templates.

  
  


• 
  

  Support the delivery of projects from early design through to completion.

  
  


• 
  

  Carry out quality checks on drawings and models to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  
  

About You

• 
  

  Strong experience using Revit MEP and AutoCAD within a building services environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Good understanding of BIM processes and industry standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work independently as well as within a team.

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.

  
  


• 
  

  Previous consultancy or contractor experience within building services is highly desirable.
