Audit Senior | Top 30 | London & East Anglia

Our client is a prominent Top 50 Firm that has consistently climbed the rankings, They are an independently owned practice with over 400 staff.

Audit Senior responsibilities 

• Lead onsite audit engagements (70% of the role) for a diverse portfolio, including large listed groups and entrepreneurial SMEs with turnovers up to £120m. 


• Take ownership of accounts preparation and the drafting of tax computations (30% of the role), providing a holistic service to your clients. 


• Supervise, coach, and review the work of junior team members onsite, ensuring high-quality output and assignment completion within budget. 


• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships and resolving queries while identifying opportunities for advisory work.

As the successful candidate you will 

• Be ACA or ACCA Qualified (or at the final stages of your exams). 


• Have proven experience in planning and leading external audits within a UK accountancy practice. 


• Possess strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102. 


• Demonstrate the ability to manage assignments effectively while mentoring junior staff.
