Audit Senior responsibilities

• 
  

  Lead site audit teams, overseeing all aspects of fieldwork and completion while ensuring audit objectives are met.

  
  


• 
  

  Prepare audit plans and actively participate in planning and fraud discussions to identify and address audit risks.

  
  


• 
  

  Review audit documentation and financial statement drafts, utilising software packages like Caseware to ensure efficient delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Mentor and coach junior staff, providing on-the-job training and regular feedback through timely assignment appraisals.

  
  

As the successful candidate you will

• 
  

  Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with significant experience working within a professional accountancy practice.

  
  


• 
  

  Have a proven track record of leading audit engagements from the planning stage through to completion.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate the ability to manage site teams and delegate work effectively to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.

  
  


• 
  

  Possess strong technical knowledge and experience with computerised audit packages, preferably Caseware.
