Responsibilities

• Leading external audit assignments from the initial planning stages through to final completion.


• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing relationships across a variety of industry sectors.


• Preparing statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS standards.


• Identifying and addressing key audit risks while ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing.


• Utilising advanced audit software and technological solutions to deliver quality services on time and budget.


• Supervise the daily progress of audit assignments to ensure efficiency and technical accuracy.


• Review the work of junior team members, providing constructive feedback and technical support.

Qualifications and Skills

• ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist.


• Proven experience in leading audits from planning to completion.


• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and familiarity with IFRS.


• Previous experience mentoring and supervising junior staff members.
