Audit Semi-Senior responsibilities

• 
  

  Execute audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across the Colchester region, ensuring high-quality service delivery.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform double-entry bookkeeping and assist in the preparation of tax computations for corporate entities.

  
  


• 
  

  Utilise advanced accounting software including CaseWare, Sage, and Excel to document findings and prepare financial statements.

  
  


• 
  

  Act as a key point of contact for clients, building meaningful relationships to understand their business risks and operational needs.

  
  

As the successful candidate you will

• 
  

  Be actively studying for your professional stage ACA or ACCA, or be AAT qualified and moving into professional studies.

  
  


• 
  

  Possess a solid foundation of experience within a UK-based accountancy practice.

  
  


• 
  

  Have a strong grasp of double-entry bookkeeping and current accounting standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Be highly organised with the ability to manage a varied workload and multiple client deadlines.
