Audit Senior responsibilities

• 
  

  Lead and complete audits from planning through to completion for a varied portfolio including sectors such as Manufacturing, Leisure, and Retail.

  
  


• 
  

  Supervise junior staff on-site, allocating sections of work and providing technical guidance and mentorship to enhance their development.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor job progress against budgets and deadlines, ensuring high standards of client service and effective communication with Partners.

  
  


• 
  

  Draft financial statements and audit summary reports, identifying key client issues and performing final analytical reviews.

  
  

As the successful candidate you will

• 
  

  Be ACA or ACCA fully qualified with at least 3 years of audit experience within a professional practice environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Possess strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP (IFRS experience is desirable but not essential).

  
  


• 
  

  Have proven experience in planning and completing audits for clients with diverse turnovers.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate the ability to mentor junior team members and manage multiple engagement deadlines simultaneously.
