Audit Semi-Senior responsibilities

• 
  

  Execution and finalization of audit fieldwork and planned substantive testing, often working on-site at diverse client premises.

  
  


• 
  

  Preparation of statutory financial statements from client data, identifying high-level risk areas for Partner and Manager review.

  
  


• 
  

  Taking full ownership of specific audit sections, including complex areas such as investment impairment reviews and related party reconciliations.

  
  


• 
  

  Assisting Seniors and Managers with the delivery of revenue targets while beginning to manage a small portfolio of lower-complexity assignments.

  
  

As the successful candidate you will

• 
  

  Be a part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice.

  
  


• 
  

  Possess a strong working knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and current Auditing Standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate experience in coaching and mentoring junior trainees during audit engagements.

  
  


• 
  

  Have a proven track record of working with a varied industry client base, from OMBs to larger corporate groups.
