Audit Assistant responsibilities

• 
  

  Assist with the planning and execution of audit assignments for a variety of corporate entities and owner-managed businesses.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures across various financial statement areas.

  
  


• 
  

  Collaborate closely with the management team to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality audit files.

  
  


• 
  

  Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, gaining a deep understanding of their business operations.

  
  

As the successful candidate you will

• 
  

  Have between 12 and 30 months of experience within a dedicated audit or accounts function in a UK practice environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Be actively studying towards your ACA or ACCA qualification with a strong first-time pass record.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrate technical proficiency in audit software and a solid understanding of UK GAAP/IFRS.

  
  


• 
  

  Show the tenacity and adaptability required to solve complex problems in a client-facing environment.
