Accounts and Audit Manager responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact and building long-term, pro-active relationships.


• Oversee the full audit lifecycle, from planning and risk assessment to reviewing evidence and resolving complex technical issues with the RI.


• Supervise and review the preparation of management accounts, statutory accounts, and complex corporation tax computations.


• Lead and develop a dedicated team, providing constructive feedback, identifying training needs, and supporting the firm's recruitment and probationary processes.

As the successful candidate you will

• Be ACA or ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in a public practice environment.


• Demonstrate experience in managing a substantial client portfolio and delivering assignments within strict budgets and statutory deadlines.


• Possess strong technical knowledge of current audit and accounting standards, including experience with various accounting software.


• Have a proven track record of supervising junior staff and coordinating team workloads effectively.
