Are you an experienced Structural Engineer ready to take the next step into a leadership role? We are also keen to speak with ambitious Senior or Principal Engineers looking to step up into an Associate position.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, growing consultancy in Sevenoaks, offering a clear pathway to Directorship.
You’ll play a pivotal role in the business, acting as the right hand to the Director and becoming a key member of the leadership team. This position is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between senior management and the wider engineering team while helping drive both technical excellence and business growth.
The Role:
Lead and oversee a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors
Manage and mentor junior engineers, supporting their technical and professional development
Take ownership of technical delivery and ensure high standards across all projects
Work closely with the Director on strategic decisions and team development
Play an active role in business development, client engagement, and winning new work
What They're Looking For:
A strong technical background across a wide range of projects – from house extensions and basement excavations to large-scale commercial and residential schemes
Proven leadership ability with experience mentoring and managing engineers
Confidence in client-facing situations and business development activities
A versatile and adaptable approach, with the ability to handle a varied workload
Ambition to progress into a Director-level role
