Associate Director responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of accounting, tax, and business advisory services to a substantial portfolio of owner-managed and family-run businesses.


• Manage, mentor, and develop the Ipswich general practice team, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and workflow efficiency.


• Act as a trusted adviser to business owners, providing strategic input on business performance, systems, and growth.


• Play a key role in the firm’s strategic direction, contributing to the growth and development of the Ipswich office.

As the successful candidate you will

• Be ACA or ACCA Qualified with extensive post-qualified experience within a UK-based public practice firm.


• Demonstrate a proven track record of managing a significant portfolio of limited companies and family businesses.


• Possess strong leadership skills with experience in overseeing the professional development of junior and senior staff.


• Have a proactive and commercially aware approach, with the ability to identify advisory opportunities for clients.
